Tolland & Rowe is a trading name of Marisole Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 43 702 236 306), an Australian company that sells to customers in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit tollandandrowe.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Marisole Holdings Pty Ltd.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, contact us or sign up for emails, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, the items you order, and anything you write to us. Payment card details are entered into Shopify's checkout and handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we collect information about your device and visit, such as your browser, IP address, approximate location, the pages you view, the items you add to your bag and how you reached us. This comes from cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Information from others. Our payment providers confirm whether a payment went through, and shipping carriers send us delivery updates.

How we use your information

  • To take, pack, ship and deliver your order, and to handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
  • To send you order confirmations, shipping and tracking emails, and replies to your messages.
  • To send you emails about new knitwear, if you have signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the site is used and make it work better.
  • To measure our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited the site.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on this site:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store. Its cookies keep your bag, run checkout, remember your preferences, protect the site from fraud and spam, and tell us how the store is used.
  • Google Ads, which measures how our ads perform and shows our ads to people who have visited this site. Google's use of this information is covered by Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
  • WeTracked, which records store events such as page views, add-to-bag and purchases and passes them to our advertising partners, including Google Ads, so we can measure our advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the store, such as your bag, may then stop working. You can opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out for that browser.

Who we share your information with

  • Shopify, which runs our store and checkout, and our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay), to take your payment.
  • Our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, who receive your name, address, phone number and order details so they can pack and deliver your order.
  • Advertising partners (Google, through WeTracked), as described above.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We don't sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as "targeted advertising", under certain US state privacy laws. You can opt out of it on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Where your information is processed

We are based in Australia, our store is hosted by Shopify, and our orders are fulfilled by a partner outside the United States. Your information may therefore be processed in Australia, the United States, Canada, China and other countries where our service providers operate. We only share it with them for the purposes in this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, and then delete or anonymize it.

How we protect it

Checkout is encrypted and processed by Shopify, and access to customer information is limited to the people and providers who need it to serve you. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link in any email);
  • opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information and of targeted advertising, on our Your Privacy Choices page;
  • appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email support@tollandandrowe.com with what you'd like us to do, and we'll take it from there. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it, and you can ask someone to make a request on your behalf if they can show you've authorized them. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Children

Our store is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
